Lab #1 Evaluating DAOS
The purpose of this lab is to demonstrate the new capabilities of the New Lotus Domino Attachment andObject Service (DAOS). After completion of the lab, workshop participants will be able to observe thereduction in disk space needed when sending the same attachments to multiple users on the sameserver.

Lab #2 ID Vault and Shared Login
The purpose of this lab is to demonstrate the new capabilities of the Notes ID Vault and Notes SharedLogin features.
After completion of the lab, the workshop participant will be able to understand the benefits, functionality and operation of the two features both individually and when implemented together.

Lab #3 Exploring Lotus Notes Traveler
This lab introduces the capabilities that Domino 8.5 provides for handheld device users in the NotesTraveler client. The exercise uses a Windows Mobile 5.0 device emulator in lieu of an actual PDA orSmartphone. It should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

The purpose of this lab is to demonstrate some of the enhanced capabilities of the Lotus Designer bybuilding two demo composite applications. After completion of the lab, the IT specialist will be able toshow the development of a Composite Application using pre-defined and user-built components.

Lab #6 Xpages
The following lab exercises are designed as an introduction to Lotus Domino's xPages functionality.Most often, the result of a previous exercise will be needed as input for following exercises. However,some of the exercises do not directly contribute to the sample application, since they are designed tohighlight and explore functionality and capabilities of xPages not needed in the sample application in allvariations.
Lotus has added many new features into the Notes and Domino family over the years. Come and explore how these new features work in a hands on lab environment. Not only will we show you how to incorporate the new features into your daily life, we will also answer your questions with the aim of making you more productive. Learn how you can expand your thinking of what can be done with the new Notes client, third party plug-ins and free business partner tools.
